What’s Happening?

August 30, Tuesday:  American Heritage Girls Informational Meeting – 6-7:30pm in the Fatih Formation build (D)  All girls K-12th grades are invited to join. Come check out the fun, faith and adventure. A parent is required to attend with their daughters.  See the attached flyer.

August 31, Wednesday:   Tax documents are DUE on August 31, 2022 for scholarship awards from CEA.  Upload to Fairapp.  If you have any questions, contact the office.

Clubs:  After school activities.  Review the fliers for dates, grade eligibility, cost and registration. all on our website. Visit the ACS Extra Curricular Programs

Monday:  ACS Choir

Tuesday:  ACS Strong Minds Run Club

Wednesday:  Chess, Soccer Shots

Thursday:  Legos (full – waitlist available)

Future Happenings:

September 5, Monday:  Labor Day no school.

September 12, Tuesday: First Rosary. JOYful Mysteries  led by 8th Grade in the Church at 2:20pm.

September 14, Wednesday:  Dine Out Fundraiser at Oregano’s Cave Creek.  Dine-In or Take Out   Oregano’s will give 20% of your bill (before tax and gratuity) back to ACS!  Come out to fellowship and earn money for ACS!

Order Now: Source & Summit Missal for 2023

Would you and your family like to have personal copies of Source & Summit? This missal in our pews contains all the weekend and holy day readings, citations for daily Mass, hymns, and devotional prayers. It is a wonderful aid to assist us in our prayers during Mass and at home.

If you would like your own copies, please contact Mark at music@stgacc.org or call the parish office. Please consider a $10 donation to cover the costs of each copy. Orders are due before September 26.

ACTION NEEDED:  Important Information: 

  • Private Affidavit (new students only) and Transportation of Minor(all students) forms need to be notarized.  Original documents need to be dropped off to the office.  The forms are attached for your convenience.  
  • All students that require Epipens and/or Inhaler should bring one (labeled with your child’s name) to school with appropriate paperwork. K-5 students’ epipens/inhalers will be stored in classroom first aid kits. 6-8 must carry their epipens/inhalers with them at all times.  Follow this link for all health related forms.

Volunteer Opportunities

ACS  Volunteers:  We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers.   

  • Complete your Safe Environment Training with  CMGconnect .   All training is online – renewal (Online Renewal for Lay Persons -Safe Haven Part 3) and 1st time volunteers: Online Foundation Training Safe Haven-It’s Up to You.   Instructions are attached.   Your safe environment training must be completed prior to volunteering on campus.  Please complete it as soon as possible.   
  • Mobileserve App is used to track all volunteer hours.  Parents please create an account.  Instructions are attached.  With your account, you’ll be able to view and sign up for events at the school.
  • View and join the volunteer opportunities that are available.  Thank you for being part of the ACS Community. URGENT: We need volunteers for lunch duty August 29- Sept. 2.,!  Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer, meet new friends and see your student!  Plus, we need your help!  Please sign up to volunteer for Lunch Duty in August and September.
