What’s Happening?
February 26, Saturday: Evening Under the Stars – Mardi Gras style 6pm cocktail hour, dinner to follow in St. Gabriel’s Parish Hall. Please support ACS and Catholic education. There are a few tickets available. Purchase tickets at Evening Under the Stars 2022.
February 28, Monday: Wear your JOY t-shirt with your uniform bottoms.
March 1, Tuesday: Altar Server training 3:30 – 5 pm (rescheduled makeup previously on Feb. 22) in the church. Students grades 5 – 8 are welcome and encouraged to attend.
March 1, Tuesday: Saints and Sacraments led by Mrs. Cullen at 6:30pm in ACS. See attached flier.
March 2, Wednesday: Participate in Saint Sock Days on the first Wednesday of every month. See the attached flyer for future dates.
March 2, Wednesday: Ash Wednesday 8:15 am, Mass with ash distribution. All are welcome. Also, Mass and ash distribution at St Gabriel, 7 pm.
March 3, Thursday: New Bricks 4 Kidz – Legos – session. See attached flyer for registration information.
March 4, 18, 25, April 1, 8, Fridays: Stations of the Cross with studentsat 2:20 pm in the Church. All are welcome.
March 7, Monday: Monthly Rosary – the Sorrowful Mysteries at 2:20 pm led by 2nd grade.
March 11, 14, Friday, Monday: No school Friday and Monday. Teacher In-Service (Friday)
Future Happenings:
March 4, 11, 18, 25, April 1, 8, Friday: Evening Stations of the Cross in the Church led by various parish ministries. Stations will begin at 5:30pm followed with a meatless meal in the Parish Hall.
March 18, Friday: 8th grade Free Dress for $1. All funds will go towards the 8th grade Flagstaff Trip. Thank you in advance for your support. Please adhere to the ACS student uniform guidelines for non-uniform dress.
March 20, Sunday: Family Mass at 10:30 am at St Gabriel. Students in ACS uniform may wear free dress on Monday. Please adhere to the ACS student uniform guidelines for non-uniform dress.
March 20, Sunday: Mother/Son Event Come enjoy tailgating in early afternoon and dress up as your favorite team. Details and RSVP information coming soon.
March 26, Saturday: Annual Daddy & Daughter Dance 6:30 – 8:30pm, ACS Outdoor Pavilion. Save the Date for our Annual Daddy & Daughter Dance! Invitations have been sent home with ACS girls this week. Community Events:
Our Lady of Joy Preschool is hosting a Sock Religious sale through Wednesday, March 1 for the next two weeks. Exceptional quality socks, cool faith and Saint T-shirts and fun religious stickers. Please click on
