What’s Happening?
January 28, Sunday, Catholic Schools Week All School Mass and Open House: Catholic Schools Week begins on Sunday. We have events every day of the week so be sure to check out the full schedule of by visiting the ACS Catholic Schools Week webpage.
Please attend the all school Mass at 10:30AM. Students in full uniform please. Enjoy a pizza lunch, face painting, and visiting with fellow ACS families. There will also be a blood drive so roll up your sleeve and donate! Students can compete in the Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest which is open to all students aged 9-14. Participants must turn in a completed entry form and be registered on the sign up genius link below. January 29 – February 2, Monday- Friday: Catholic Schools Week service project begins! Our goal is to collect 2,000 lbs of food for St. Vincent de Paul food bank. This project is led by our Vibrant Vinnies. Here is the link to the list of items needed on each day.
January 29, Monday: Living Rosary at 2:20pm on the basketball court.
January 30, Tuesday: Community Prayer led by 4th grade. All are welcome in the parish hall at 2:20pm. Fruit of the Spirit is faithfulness.

February 9, Friday: Monthly Rosary, Luminous mysteries led by 3rd grade. Held in the church at 2:20pm. All are welcome.
February 11, Sunday: Mother Daughter Galentine’s Event following the 10:30 am Mass in the Parish Hall. Keep an eye out for more information and the link to purchase tickets and volunteer opportunities!
February 16, 19, Fri & Mon: No school. Presidential weekend.
February 23, Friday: 8th Grade Free dress for $1 to help support the 8th grade end of year field trip to Flagstaff. Upcoming free dress dates (Friday): March 15, April 19.
February 27, Tuesday: Community Prayer led by 3rd grade. Fruit of the Spirit is Love. Held in the Parish Hall at 2:20pm. All are welcome.
March 15-17, Friday – Sunday: Frozen Jr. the musical performed by the ACS students. Ticket sales are coming soon so save the date!
March 23, Saturday: Annual Daddy & Daughter Dance 6:30 – 8:30pm, ACS Outdoor Pavilion. Save the date! Invitation to follow in the coming weeks.
Extra Curricular News
Jan 17 – Mar 4: Spring session for Strong Minds Run Club is open for students in Kindergarten – 5th grade. This club includes running drills, games and teaches character strength and empowerment principles! Students will do lots of running, have FUN in the fresh air, and practice invaluable life lessons. Volunteer Opportunities
ACS Volunteers: We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers.
- If you have not completed your Volunteer certification, please visit our Volunteer Service web page for complete information. This must be completed before you can volunteer.
- Download the Mobileserve App! Signup for volunteer opportunities and is used to track all volunteer hours. Parents, please create an account. Instructions are attached. With your account, you’ll be able to view and sign up for events at the school.
- URGENT: We need volunteers for lunch duty Jan 29 – Jan 31. Lunch duty opportunities are available at Mobile Serve. Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer, meet new friends and see your student! Plus, we need your help!
