What’s Happening?
December 5, Sunday: Music Recital. Students taught by Mrs. Trayer and Mrs. Himmelein in private lessons. Recital will be in the Parish Hall (former church) 11:30 – 1 p.m. All are welcome.
December 6-9, Mon-Thurs: Christmas Market – Students will be able to shop for special gifts for family, friends and everyone in between. Many items, see attached flyer, for $15 and under. This is a cash only event.
December 8, Wednesday: Holy Day of Obligation – The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mass at 8:15 a.m. with students or at 6:30 p.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church. All are welcome.
December 8-16, Wed.-Thur.: ACS’s annual pajama drive! Every year ACS collects new pajamas of all sizes for a program called The Pajama Project. These donations benefit kids in foster care! This year, we have set the goal to raise 200 pairs of pajamas! If we reach this goal, there will be a school wide pajama day! There are bins located in the Church, K-5 building, and the middle school building. All donations help!
December 9, Thursday: Happy Birthday Mrs. Schwartz! May your birthday be filled
with peace, joy, and God’s blessings upon your life today and everyday. Happy Birthday!
December 10, Friday: Silly Sock and 8th Grade $1 Free Dress. Students may wear silly socks and school uniform bottoms at no cost OR For $1 free dress supporting the 8th grade Flagstaff Trip. Please adhere to non-uniform guidelines. Read here: ACS website. Thank you for supporting the 8th Grade Flagstaff Trip.
December 10, Friday 6 p.m.: St. Nicholas Family Event at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Parish, in the Courtyard. St. Nick will be there!
There will be games, caroling, Advent Wreath blessing, hot cocoa, and much more! And it’s free!!!
December 12, Sunday: American Heritage Girls – Stars and Stripes Court of Honor, Girl members wear your Class A uniform. Mass at 10:30, Court of Honor following (12:00pm), Stations of the Cross blessing and lunch reception. RSVP: Stars and Stripes Invite All are welcome.
December 13, Monday: Spelling Bee held in the parish hall (former church) at 1:15pm. All are welcome.
December 13, Monday: Knights of Columbus fundraiser at the Creek. A portion of your bill will go to the St.Gabriel’s Knights to help military families at Christmas time.
December 16, Thursday: ACS Christmas Concert in the new church at 6:30 p.m. Student attire- Guys in ties, girls in their Sunday best please!
December 17, Friday: ACS Pajama day only if we collect 200 new PJs for the Pajama Project Drive. A separate email will be sent out when we reach our goal of 200 new PJs.

January 11, Tuesday: Saints and Sacraments led by Mrs. Cullen for 12 sessions. See the attached flyer for details and future dates. Sign up on Mobile serve and receive 1 hour of volunteer service.
January 28, Friday: ACS Night at the Phoenix Suns Game! ACS tickets for the Suns vs. Timberwolves game is SOLD OUT. To join the waiting list for tickets should any more become available, please send an email to Mike Scagnoli at mscagnoli@gmail.com. More details about the event will be sent to attendees as the game date approaches.
