Here are your Updates for the week ending on Friday, December 10, 2021…

December 16, Thursday:  ACS Christmas Concert in the new church at 6:30 p.m. Students should arrive between 6 -6:15pm.  Student attire – Guys in ties, girls in their Sunday best please! 

• Put a big smile on your Christmas vocalists with a bouquet of flowers. Bouquets are a great buy at $7.00 per bouquet or 2 bouquets for $10.00! The school earns 100% profit on these bouquets. Click the link below and order your bouquets today.  Bouquets will be available to pickup before the concert.  Quantities are limited so purchase your bouquet today.  https://annunciation.schoolauction.net/acsevents/g/christmasflowers

What’s Happening?

December 8-16, Wed-Thurs:   ACS’s annual pajama drive! Every year ACS collects new pajamas of all sizes for a program called The Pajama Project. These donations benefit kids in foster care! This year, we have set the goal to raise 200 pairs of pajamas! If we reach this goal, there will be a school wide pajama day!   There are bins located in the Church, K-5 building, and the middle school building.  All donations help! 

December 12, Sunday: American Heritage Girls – Stars and Stripes Court of Honor, Girl members wear your Class A uniform. Mass at 10:30, Court of Honor following (12:00pm), Stations of the Cross blessing and lunch reception.  RSVP: Stars and Stripes Invite  All are welcome.

December 13, Monday:  Spelling Bee held in the parish hall (former church) at 1:15pm.  All are welcome.

December 13, Monday:Knights of Columbus fundraiser at the Creek. A portion of your bill will go to the St.Gabriel Knights to help military families at Christmas time. 

December 17, Friday:  ACS Pajama day only if we collect 200 new PJs for the Pajama Project Drive.  A separate email will be sent out when we reach our goal of 200 new PJs.

December 17- January 2, 2022:17th half day, noon dismissal.  No aftercare.  Christmas Break:  Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!  Staff and Students return Monday, January 3, 2022.

Save the Date:
January 11, Tuesday: Saints and Sacraments led by Mrs. Cullen for 12 sessions.  See the attached flier for details and future dates.  Sign up on Mobile serve and receive 1 hour of volunteer service.

January 28, Friday:  ACS Night at the Phoenix Suns Game! ACS tickets for the Suns vs. Timberwolves game is SOLD OUT. To join the waiting list for tickets should any more become available, please send an email to Mike Scagnoli at mscagnoli@gmail.com. More details about the event will be sent to attendees as the game date approaches.
