Here are your Updates for the week ending on Friday, November 19, 2021…
November 21, Sunday: ACS Family Mass at 8:30 a.m. in the new church! All families are welcome to attend. Come celebrate the Sacrifice of the Holy Mass together as a school and parish community. Students are encouraged to attend in uniform.
What’s Happening?
November 12 – 30, See’s Candy Fundraiser: Orders accepted now through November 30. See form attached. It is that time of year again for our holiday See’s Candy fundraiser! A little something yummy for you, plus you help out our school by shopping! Please make checks payable to Annunciation Catholic School.
November 19, Friday 6 – 9 pm: Advent Wreath Decorating Party – Come share the joy of the season at our Advent Wreath decorating party. $25 per family includes wreath, candle stand and Advent candles. Register online only at https://annunciation.schoolauction.net/acsevents/g/adventwreath. Plenty of room available, Walk-ins welcome, okay to pay at the door.
November 15 – 22, Sock Religious Fundraiser: Stock up on fun Catholic socks for family, friends, yourself, and of course the kids!!!!! There are more socks now than ever and shirts and stickers are now available! The homeroom class with the most sales will get a pizza party sponsored by the Catholic Identity Committee. And don’t forget, we have several days throughout the school year for students to wear their Saint Socks! Support our school while getting amazing quality, artistic, faith filled gifts for yourself and loved ones!!!!

November 23, Tuesday: Annual Thanksgiving Feast lunch (provided by an ACS family) for all students and staff. Blue Willo lunch has been cancelled for the day. If your student does not eat turkey, mac n cheese, stuffing, etc., please pack your student a lunch.
November 24, Wednesday: Noon Dismissal. No aftercare provided.
November 25 – 26, Thursday, Friday: No school. Happy Thanksgiving. Have a blessed weekend!

December 1, Wednesday: Barros Dine Out Fundraiser 25% goes back to ACS use attached flyer!
December 10, Friday 6 p.m.- St. Nicholas Family Event at St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Parish, in the Courtyard. St. Nick will be there!
There will be games, caroling, Advent Wreath blessing, hot cocoa, and much more! And it’s free!!!
December 12, Sunday: American Heritage Girls – Stars and Stripes Court of Honor, Mass at 10:30, Court of Honor following (12:00pm) and Stations of the Cross blessing. RSVP: maria37644@gmail.com
December 13, Monday: Knights of Columbus has an upcoming fundraiser at the Creek on December 13. The money raised that night will help military families at Christmas time.
December 16, Thursday: ACS Christmas Concert in the new church. (Previously scheduled on December 15, Wednesday.)
January 28, Friday: ACS Night at the Phoenix Suns Game! ACS tickets for the Suns vs. Timberwolves game are SOLD OUT. To join the waiting list for tickets should any more become available, please send an email to Mike Scagnoli at mscagnoli@gmail.com. More details about the event will be sent to attendees as the game date approaches.
Christmas Decorations Needed!
As we prepare to celebrate Christmas and decorate our homes with beautiful decor, please consider donating or lending your unused and/or no longer needed Christmas decorations such as artificial trees, wreaths, non-glass ornaments, lights, Christmas projectors, oversized red bows (for the fences), oversized hanging ornaments (for the trees), etc.
We are planning to decorate the school for the Christmas season and your items will be greatly appreciated as they will add festivity, joy, and color to our beautiful school.
For loaned items, please write your name on painters tape or masking tape, and stick the tape to the item.
