What’s Happening?
September 12, Sunday Join us at 10:30 a.m. Mass for Fr. Chad King’s official Installation Mass as Pastor with Bishop Olmsted.
September 13, Monday Monthly Rosary led by 8th grade the Joyful Mysteries at 2:20 in the church. All are welcome.
September 13 – 16, Mon – Thurs No daily Mass or Adoration. Fr. Chad and Fr. David will be attending the Diocese of Phoenix Priest Convocation
September 14, Tuesday ACS Moms join us – Praying with the Saints 6 – 7:45 pm presented by Mrs. Jennie Cullen. See attached flyer for more information.
September 15, Wednesday Student Picture day. 8th graders wear light blue polos, K-7 wear royal blue polos except those girls wearing the plaid jumper should wear white blouse.
September 16, Thursday Life’s Big Questions – Do you wonder why happiness is fleeting? Come join us in The Search led by Michael Garibaldi 6 – 7:30pm in the Ministry building. (This is a 6 wk study course, join us for 1 or all.)
September 17, Friday 8th Grade $1 Free Dress Day. Students may dress out of uniform (See uniform guidelines on acsphx.org.) for a minimum of $1 donation. The donation is towards the 8th grade Trip and activities throughout the year. Thank you in advance for your support.
September 17, FridayWhat’s Up Coffee Talk 7:45 – 8:45 am. Drop in the Ministry Building (former K-3) after drop off to grab a cup of coffee, catch up with parents and learn more about upcoming events. All parents are welcome.
September 19, Sunday Catechetical Sunday. All School Mass 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
ACTION NEEDED: Important Information:
- Private Affidavit (new students only) and Transportation of Minor(all students) forms need to be notarized. Original documents need to be dropped off to the office. The forms are attached for your convenience.
- All students that require Epipens and/or Inhaler should bring one (labeled with your child’s name) to school with appropriate paperwork. K-5 students’ epipens/inhalers will be stored in classroom first aid kits. 6-8 must carry their epipens/inhalers with them at all times. Follow this link for all health related forms.
Volunteer Opportunities
ACS Volunteers: We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers.
- Complete your Safe Environment Training with CMGconnect . All training is online – renewal (2021-2022 Online Renewal for Lay Persons “A Safe Side of the Line.”) and 1st time volunteers: Online Foundation Training “A Time to Protect.”. Instructions are attached. Your safe environment training must be complete prior to volunteering on campus. Please complete it as soon as possible.
- Mobileserve App is used to track all volunteer hours. Parents please create an account. Instructions are attached. With your account, you’ll be able to view and sign up for events at the school.
- View and join the volunteer opportunities that are available. Thank you for being part of the ACS Community.
- URGENT: We need volunteers for lunch duty in September ! This week we need 5 – on the 13th, 3 on the 14th, 4 on the 15th, 2 on the 16th and 4 on the 17th. Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer and meet new friends and we need you! Please sign up to volunteer at Lunch Duty.
Save the date: September 24, Friday: Last day to submitt Original Works, an art fundraiser. Ordering packet and art work was sent home this week. If you have not received it, please contact your homeroom teacher.
October 2, Saturday: Harold’s Corral Presents Oktoberfest Charity Event. 6 pm – 11 pm. More details coming.

October 8,11 Friday and Monday: No School. Educator’s Day and Columbus Day, respectively.
November 5, Friday: All Saints Day Celebration and Grandparents’ Day
If grandparents are unable to attend, other special guests are welcome to attend (e.g. aunts/uncles, friends of the family).
