What’s Happening?

• Sept. 28, Monday: Community Prayer at 2:20pm led by the 7th grade.
• Sept. 29, Tuesday: St. Gabriel Parish celebrates the Feast of the Archangels with evening Mass at 6pm followed by a pot-luck dinner. Click the link to signup!
• Sept. 30 & Oct. 1 (Wed. & Thurs.): Calling all future Cheer Leaders! Notre Dame Prep is offering a cheer clinic with the opportunity to perform at a NDP Saints football game! REGISTER HERE!
• October 1, Thursday: Early dismissal at 12pm. No lunch, no aftercare. Parent/Teacher Conferences in the afternoon.
• October 2, Friday: No school. Parent/Teacher Conferences.
• October 7, Wednesday: All school Rosary celebrated on World Rosary Day. Annunciation students will join millions of the faithful around the world in praying the rosary for peace and worldwide unity. This event replaces our previously scheduled school rosary on Oct. 16.
• October 8, Thursday: Bishop Olmsted presents: Catholics in the Public Square at 6:30pm in the parish hall. Learn about your role as a Catholic American. All are invited!
• October 9, Friday: No School, Educator Day Diocesan meetings for teachers.
• October 12, Monday: No school, Columbus Day.

Coming up!

• October 21, Wednesday: Picture retakes will be done in the morning for all who missed picture day and those who are would like a retake. Same uniform requirements as picture day. If you haven’t ordered your pictures yet, please visit MyDorian.com
• October 23, Friday: ACS Trunk or Treat! Details to come! Don’t miss the fun!
• October 26-30: The ACS BookFair! Shopping hours to be announced!
• October 30, Friday:
  • All Saints Day and Grandparents Day Celebration! All ACS grandparents are invited to attend. Your kindergarten and 1t grade Saints procession. Refreshments provided for all visitors, and the bookfair will be open for shopping!
  • Early Dismissal at 12pm, no lunch, no aftercare!

After School Care and Extracurricular Activities

• Aftercare is available each full school day until 5:30pm. Please visit our Extended Care info page for details.
• Afterschool Extracurricular Clubs:
  • Mondays: Crazy Cool Science Club.  Session one starts  8/20. Session two starts- 1/7  Link to register
  • NEW!! Garden club begins on October 5 for students in grades 3-8.  $100 per student. Register now!

  • Wednesdays: Chess Club:  Wednesdays Fall session  8/26 – 11/18  Link to register
  • Wednesdays: Art Angels Fall and Holiday Sessions  2 Classes offered by grades. K-3 and 4th -6th. Session 1 9/30-10/28.  Session 2 11/4-12/9/ $200 per child per session. 3:15-4:30pm.

Volunteer Opportunities

• Safe Environment Training required for all volunteers:  Please visit our Volunteer Info webpage to learn how to start/renew your Volunteer Certification and learn how to download the MobileServe App to volunteer and to record your service hours. 
• Help Needed – Volunteers for lunch duty needed. Visit MobileServe to sign up and enter your service hours. Your help is needed so please come when you can. Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer, meet new friends and see your student!
