- May 3, Sunday: St. Gabriel’s adds a 5pm Mass on Sundays!Â
- Starting Sunday, May 3rd, St Gabriel will be offering a new Traditional Sacred Liturgy with Latin chant at 5PM. This Mass will meet your Sunday obligation.
- Father Chad would like to see students/alumni and families heavily involved in the Mass. They will be the preferred ushers, lectors, and altar servers. Over time, as the music ministry builds around chant, students will be invited to sing as well.
- If your child is already in MSP for altar serving they will still be called and rotate through the regular Masses. If they want to experience altar serving traditional Mass they can email Mrs. Cullen at jcullen@acsphx.org to get put on this list. Altar servers for this Mass will be reserved for boys.
- Girls serve an important role in the liturgy as well and are invited to join the Little Flower Ministry (named for St. Therese of Lisieux) that involves young girls in the sacred tradition of preparing the altar for the Mass as a sacristan.
- Father Chad is also looking for high school aged students and up to serve as ushers.
