What’s Happening?
- Saturday, August 16: Back-2-School BBQ at 5:30pm in the parish hall, hosted by the ACS Dad’s Club. All school families are invited to attend!
- Sunday, August 17: School Family Mass at 10:30am at St. Gabriel church.
- Soccer Shots after school club for K-3 is starting Sept. 5 – Dec. 12, Fridays at 3:15pm. Visit Soccer Shots to learn more and register!
Coming up!
- Friday, August 29: Early dismissal at 12pm. No lunch, no aftercare. Please send your student with a water bottle and snack.
- Monday, September 1: No school, Labor Day!
Athletics Info!
- Cross Country Coach needed for ACS team! Please contact Coach Dave at athletics@acsphx.org for details.
- Last call for boys in grades 5-8 who want to play Flag Football – please email Coach Dave at athletics@acsphx.org
- If your student needs a sports physical for ACS Athletics, physicals will be offered tomorrow morning, Saturday, August 16 from 9am-12pm on a first come first serve basis. A parent or legal guardian must be present. Please be sure to download and complete the Sports Physical form from the Athletics form packet.

Safe Environment Training: To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET). Please go to CMGConnect. Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.
Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
To fulfill your service agreement please visit our Volunteer Info webpage to learn how to start/renew your Volunteer Certification and learn how to download the MobileServe App to volunteer and to record your service hours.
Volunteer Opportunities
ACS Volunteers: We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers. Help Needed – Volunteers for lunch duty needed for the month of August and September. Lunch duty opportunities are available MobileServe. Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer and meet other parents. Plus, we need your help!
