November 11 & 13 Wed, Fri. Veterans Day Mass 8:15 a.m. Flag Ceremony & Blessing for Veterans following Mass. See invite attached.
November 17, Tuesday: Barro’s Dine Out. More information coming soon.
November 25, Wedenesday: 8:15 a.m. Mass for K-3. Noon dismissal. No Lunch service. No aftercare available.
November 26 & 27 Thursday & Friday: Thanksgiving break. No school.
November 30, Monday: Community Prayer led by the 6th grade class.

A separate email went out about Moving into the New Building. Please create an account on Mobile Serve and sign up for Move to New Building currently scheduled for Saturdays: Dec 5, 12 and 19. We need your help!
· Complete your Safe Environment Training with CMGconnect. Renewal SET curriculum is 2020-2021 Online Renewal. Your username format is firstname.lastname.dop. The initial foundation class for first time volunteers is also online this year; curriculum is 2020-2021 Initial Foundation Instructions are attached. Your safe environment training must be complete prior to volunteering on campus.
· We are using Mobileserve (new this year) to track all volunteer hours. Parents please create an account. Instructions are attached.
· Lunch duty-November has open slots. Please sign up for Lunch Duty via Mobile Serve. Thank you for your assistance.

We have the best idea for stocking stuffers, gift exchanges, hostess gifts, Christmas presents, and birthdays! In fact, these can be purchased now and gifted ALL YEAR! Introducing ACS’ newest FUNdraiser : Sock Religious . There are BOTH Adult ($14) and Children’s ($10) sizes available in cool hip designs. Please see the attached catalog for all the designs. There will be a few different WEAR YOUR RELIGIOUS SOCK DAYS coming up this school year, and your child can participate with their new socks. Please use the order form that came home with your child, or print the one attached below. The order forms are due to the office by NOVEMBER 13. Don’t forget to plan ahead for birthdays, first communion and confirmation gifts, and first reconciliation gifts. These really are super unique and fun for all year!
Our Lady of Joy Christmas Bazaar; a Carefree Christmas, Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14 from 9 am to 4 pm. We are excited to be hosting our 13th annual Christmas Bazaar at Our Lady of Joy Catholic Parish, 36811 N. Pima Road in Carefree. This wonderful shopping extravaganza will showcase jewelry, photography, pet boutique, fused glass, purses, quilts, rock art sculptures, gourd art, holiday ornaments and wreaths, children and doll apparel, imported olive oils, woodworking/cutting boards, beaded wrapped silverware, watercolor paintings, metal yard art, and much more!! Make your list and check it twice. We have a great selection of unique one-of-a-kind items sure to please. Featuring: Book Nook, Sweets & Treats and the Joyful Grounds Cafe. COVID-19 ALERT: Every precaution is being put in place to allow for social distancing, and masks will be required. Please check the website, www.oloj.org closer to the event to verify status.
Our Lady of Joy Preschool is opening a new preschool class in January 2021 for three-year old’s. This class is held Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00 – 2:15 p.m. We focus on social skills, creative play, age appropriate academics and a solid faith formation program. Campus Update: This week coming we will see the paving of the new driveway/parking area near the new playground equipment. The large metal doors added to the mechanical plant. Final peak on the church has been completed and the tresses will continue to be added. Inside the school building, the bathrooms are almost finished. The partitions have been installed. Toilets and sinks are installed as well. The Kinder, Art and Middle School Science rooms were fitted with cabinets and countertops.
