What’s Happening?
October 16, Sunday: All School Family Mass at St. Gabriel 10:30am. Students in their school uniform may have free dress on Tuesday. Please adhere to the school guidelines in the Non-uniform dress. All are welcome!
October 16, Sunday: Arizona Rosary Celebration. Rosary and Benediction with Bishop John Dolan. Location: Phoenix Convention Center South building, Halls F & G 33 S. 3rd St. Phoenix, Az 85004. Confession, adoration and exhibits also available from 2:00 – 4:15pm.
October 19, 2022, Wednesday – Fun Run – Get Ready for the ACS Grand Land Adventure Glow Run!
On your mark, get set, GLOW! ACS student runners, walkers, skippers, and jumpers will participate in a fun-filled event with glow necklaces, black lights, and great music in the St. Gabriel Parish Hall on October 19, for the GRAND LAND ADVENTURE GLOW RUN. This year’s character-themed glow run will give our students a look at several national parks while they learn about Gratitude, Stewardship, Bravery, Perseverance, and Wonder. The FunD Angels are working hard to make sure this year’s event is a blast! Volunteer opportunities are in Mobileserve.
October 22, Saturday: St. Gabriel Fall Festival. Come for food, music and fellowship. Adult dinner $15, Students (15 and under) $5. See attached flier.
October 26, Wednesday: Chipotle Dine in or Take out Fundraising. 33% of the event sales will be donated back to ACS! Mark your calendars: Wednesday, October 26 from 4-8PM

October 28, 2022, Friday: Trunk or Treat. Join us for a Spooktacular night of fellowship. Parking spaces and pizza are available to purchase here. See the attached flyer.
October 30 – November 4 – Book Fair – Reading is Dino-Mite.
The Dino-Mite Book Fair is here and we’re ready to STOMP, CHOMP and READ!
Bring your Mighty STAR readers to the book fair to pick out a new favorite book. Many new titles and authors to choose from at the ACS Book Fair! ACS Angels will get to experience the magic of the onsite school shopping experience by discovering new authors and picking up some awesome trinkets. Every dollar you spend will benefit our school by 75%.
October (for the month of) Pinks Moving Company will give back to ACS 10% from any booking during October when they mention the code PINKS31. Please see the attached flyer.
November 5, Saturday: Dads Club Annual Campus Clean-Up Day, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. Dads and kids, join us for our annual effort to clean and beautify the wonderful ACS campus grounds. This year families can also bring used electronics to campus for free recycling. All proceeds from the recycled E-waste will benefit Annunciation. See attached flyer. Volunteer Opportunities
ACS Volunteers: We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers.
- Complete your Safe Environment Training with CMGconnect . All training is online – renewal (Online Renewal for Lay Persons -Safe Haven Part 3) and 1st time volunteers: Online Foundation Training Safe Haven-It’s Up to You. Instructions are attached. Your safe environment training must be completed prior to volunteering on campus. Please complete it as soon as possible.
- MobileServe App is used to track all volunteer hours. Parents, please create an account. Instructions are attached. With your account, you’ll be able to view and sign up for events at the school. View and join the volunteer opportunities that are available. Thank you for being part of the ACS Community. URGENT: We need volunteers for lunch duty for October 17-21! Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer, meet new friends and see your student! Plus, we need your help! Please sign up to volunteer for Lunch Duty in October.
