ACS Weekly Update: Friday, Nov. 7, 2025

What’s Happening?  

  • November 7, Friday:
    • All School Rosary. The Glorious Mysteries led by the 5th grade at 2:20pm.
    • End of Term 1. Online report cards for grades 3-8 will be emailed at the end of next week. Paper report cards for grades K-2 will be sent home then as well.
  • November 7 & 8, Friday & Saturday: Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar. 9am – 4pm.Come shop the beautiful crafts and enjoy some delicious food! 
  • November 10 & 11, Monday & Tuesday: School Musical Workshop beginning at 3:15 – 5:30pm. $25 each, $20 for siblings. This is a 2 day workshop. Your child may attend one day but the cost is the same. Signup to attend
  • November 17 & 18: Monday &Tuesday: School  Musical Auditions for the Lion King Jr.. Signup for a spot
  • November 19, Wednesday: Catholic Identity Committee meeting at 9:15am.
  • November 21, Friday: The ACS Great Race at 11am!  More info to come!
  • November 21, Friday: Early Dismissal at 12pm. No lunch, no aftercare. Staff meetings.
  • November 23: Sunday: No ACS Family Mass! It has been rescheduled for December 7 at 10:30am followed by Faith and Family Hour in the parish hall for parents. Child care for grades K-8 in the school. 
  • November 24, Monday: ACS Community Prayer at 8:15am.
  • November 25, Tuesday: ACS Thanksgiving Feast for Students and Staff. Students will be treated to a full Thanksgiving meal. No need to pack lunch unless your child prefers it.
  • November 27, 28, 29: Wednesday – Friday: No School Thanksgiving Break.Classes resume on Monday, December 1.

After School Clubs: Check out all of our current after school extra-curricular clubs being offered this fall including Garden Club, Art Angels, Chess Club, cooking club, STEM club, and dance!

WE NEED YOU!

Safe Environment Training:  To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET).  Please go to CMGConnect.  Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.

Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
