Congratulations to Coach Suzie Alba and the girl’s 7th/8th grade volleyball team for taking 2nd place in the CYAA Small Schools Volleyball championship! Check out their trophy in the front office!
What’s Happening?
- St. Gabriel’s celebrate the Feast of the Dedication of Our Church this weekend!
Fr. Chad has planned special ways for all of us to participate in this Feast including a night of music & worship after the Saturday 4:30pm Vigil and a Eucharistic Procession on Sunday after the 10:30am Mass. All are invited to join for either or both! See below for details.
- Oct. 27- Nov.7: National Junior Honor Society Diaper Drive for the Phoenix Rescue Mission. Sizes 5, 6, 7 needed please! Drop in the school, school office, church office or parish hall.
- November 3, Monday: Girls volleyball banquet in the parish hall at 5:30pm.
- November 3 & 4: Treats for the Troops! Donate your unwanted Halloween candy for our Troops. American Heritage Girls will be at the morning drop off to collect your donation.
- November 7: End of first trimester.
- November 7 & 8, Friday and Saturday: Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar. 9am – 4pm.Come shop the beautiful crafts and enjoy some delicious food!

- November 11, Tuesday: Please plan to attend our Veterans Day Celebration at 9:15am in the parish hall. Invite all military and family members. See below for details below. Don’t forget to honor your military member. Please complete the Honor Our Veterans form and send it back to office@acsphx.org in honor of your Veterans

- November 10 & 11, Monday & Tuesday: School Musical Workshop for The Lion King Jr. beginning at 3:15pm. $25 per student (siblings are $20). Signup to attend!
- November 17 & 18, Monday & Tuesday: School Musical Auditions for The Lion King Jr. Signup here!
- November 21, Friday: Early dismissal an 12pm. Staff Meeting. No lunch, no aftercare.
- November 26-28, Wednesday – Friday: Thanksgiving break! No school! Classes resume December 1.
After School Clubs: Check out all of our current after school extra-curricular clubs being offered this fall including Garden Club, Art Angels, Chess Club, cooking club, STEM club, and dance!

Safe Environment Training: To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET). Please go to CMGConnect. Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.
Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
