ACS Weekly Update: Friday, Oct. 24, 2025

What’s Happening?  

  • Join us tonight for Trunk or Treat! In the north parking lot behind the parish hall. Car decorating begins at 5:30pm. The event starts at 6pm. 
  • October 25, Saturday: Annual Campus Cleanup by the ACS Dad’s Club from 8:30 – 11:30am. All Dads and their students are welcome to participate. Please rsvp to dadsclub@acsphx.org
  • October 26, Sunday: ACS Family Mass at 10:30am, followed by Family & Faith Hour in the parish hall. Childcare will be provided for students in grades K-8.
  • October 27, Monday: After school movie presentation of “The Lion King”. We are gearing up for our school musical presentation of The Lion King Jr.! Signup your student to come enjoy the movie and get excited for the musical performance in the spring! All ACS students are invited!
  • October 31, Friday: All Saints Day and Grandparents Day Celebration and Book Fair! No school Mass. Kindergarten and 1st grade All Saints procession in the church at 9am. Grandparents event and bookfair begins at 10am in the parish hall. Refreshments will be provided for our guests.
  • October 31, Friday: Early dismissal at 12pm. No lunch, no aftercare. Staff meetings
  • November 3 & 4: Treats for the Troops! Donate your unwanted Halloween candy for our Troops. American Heritage Girls will be at morning drop off to collect your donation.
  • November 7, Friday: End of Term 1.
  • November 7 & 8, Friday and Saturday: Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar. 9am – 4pm.Come shop the beautiful crafts and enjoy some delicious food!

WE NEED YOU!

Safe Environment Training:  To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET).  Please go to CMGConnect.  Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.

Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.

To fulfill your service agreement please visit our Volunteer Info webpage to learn how to start/renew your Volunteer Certification and learn how to download the MobileServe App to volunteer and to record your service hours.

  • Help Needed – Lunch duty opportunities are available at  MobileServe. Lunchtime is an easy way to volunteer and meet other parents.
