What’s Happening?  

• October 19, Sunday: ACS Piano Recital after the 10:30am Mass, in the parish hall. Our student musicians are amazing; all are invited to attend.
• October 19, Sunday: Arizona Rosary Sunday 2:00 – 4:15pm at the Phoenix Convention Center. Doors open at noon for adoration, confession, exhibits, and guest speakers. Free admission. Visit azrosary.net for more information.
• October 20, Monday is Sports Jersey Day at ACS to help support the 8th grade class trip! Bring $2 and wear your favorite team jersey. Uniform bottoms please. 

• October 20, Monday: ACS Garden Club begins and runs 8 consecutive Mondays through December 8.  Open to all ACS students. Cost is $100 per student. REGISTER HERE

• October 22, Wednesday: Picture Retake Day for all students who were absent Sept. 10 and for those who wish to have their students’ pictures redone. Beginning at 9:15am. Parents if your student missed picture day or if you want your child’s picture taken again please complete the Retake Signup.
• October 23, Thursday: High School and College funding workshop at 8:15am in the 2nd floor admin building – St. Gabriel room.

Coming up!

• October 24, Friday: Trunk or Treat! Starting at 5:30pm. Reserve a spot and purchase pizza dinner! Volunteers needed, see Volunteer info below for link to sign up.

• October 25, Saturday: Annual Campus Cleanup by the ACS Dad’s Club from 8:30 – 11:30am. All Dads and their students are welcome to participate. Please rsvp to dadsclub@acsphx.org
• October 26, Sunday: ACS Family Mass at 10:30am, followed by Family & Faith Hour in the parish hall. Childcare will be provided for students in grades K-8.
• October 27, Monday: After school movie presentation of “The Lion King”. We are gearing up for our school musical presentation of The Lion King Jr.! Signup your student to come enjoy the movie and get excited for the musical performance in the spring! All ACS students are invited!

• October 31, Friday: All Saints Day and Grandparents Day Celebration and Book Fair! Kindergarten and 1st grade procession of Saints at 9:00am. Grandparents celebration and bookfair opens at 10am. Please invite the Grandparents to come for this special event. Refreshments will be provided.
• October 31, Friday: Early dismissal at 12pm. No lunch, no aftercare. Staff meetings 
• November 7 & 8, Friday and Saturday: Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church Christmas Bazaar. 9am – 4pm. Come shop the beautiful crafts and enjoy some delicious food!

After School Clubs: Check out all of our current after school extra-curricular clubs being offered this fall including Garden Club, Art Angels, Chess Club, cooking club, STEM club, and dance!

• The next Sticky Fingers Cooking session is open!  Fall session is from Oct 21st – Dec 8th, Tuesday after school.  Grades K-5 are welcome to learn to cook healthy and fun food!
• Garden Club begins Monday, October 20 and runs each Monday through December 8.

To fulfill your service agreement please visit our Volunteer Info webpage to learn how to start/renew your Volunteer Certification and learn how to download the MobileServe App to volunteer and to record your service hours. We appreciate all of our ACS volunteers.
