Happy Friday!
Thanks to all who supported our Color Fun Run Fundraiser! We are grateful for all the parent volunteers who helped throughout the process and those who came out today to help keep our kids safe. We are truly blessed with a wonderful community spirit rooted in faith.
This week we have included our upcoming scheduled home flag football and girls’ volleyball events. Coach Dave invites all students and parents to come out and support our teams. Flag football is played at Dynamite Park. If any schedule changes occur, we will send out a blast via email.
What’s Happening?
- September 21, Sunday: We ask that all school families plan to attend ACS Family Mass at 10:30AM followed by Family Faith Formation for parents in the parish hall. Child care for K-8 is provided in the school, including snacks and games. We hope you will come!

- September 24, Wednesday: Volleyball Catholic Schools Night – Xavier Prep vs. Notre Dame Prep. at Xavier Winsor Activity Center. Starting at 4pm!
- September 25, Thursday: 5/6 Volleyball Game vs. Christ Lutheran @3:45pm
- September 29, Monday: Community prayer at 2:20pm led by 7th grade.

- October 2, Thursday: Noon dismissal, K-8 parent teacher conferences. Signup’s will be sent out by your homeroom teacher.
- October 3, Friday: No school, K-8 Conferences.
- October 10 & 13, Fri. & Mon.: No School. Friday Educator Day meetings for teachers, Monday, Columbus Day.
- October 19, Sunday: Arizona Rosary Sunday hosted by the AZ Knights of Columbus at the Phoenix Convention Center from 2-4:15pm. Signup now for a ride via chartered bus from St. Gabriel’s!

Safe Environment Training: To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET). Please go to CMGConnect. Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.
Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
