Here are your Friday updates for today, September 27, 2024…
Thank you parents, students, sponsors, volunteers, staff and a BIG thank you to our Aqua Run chair, Tasha Aronson and her committee. Your efforts raised $82,200. These funds will partially subsidize the difference between education cost and tuition income. The difference is $2,338 per student.
The K-5 class with the most overall donations and the winner of a Pizza Party is Ms. Molinaro and the 1st grade!
The 6-8 class with the most overall donations and the winner of a Pizza Party is Mrs. Shen and the 7th grade!
What’s Happening?
Friday, Sept. 27: Catholic Night with the AZ Diamondbacks! Game time is 6:40pm. $5 from every ticket goes to the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Schools Support 365 program.

Wednesday, Oct. 2: Student and class pictures by Dorian Studios. 9:15 – noon. Students in full uniform please. K-7 students must wear blue school polo. Monday, Oct. 7: Come join us for our first ever Garden Party in the campus garden at 5:30pm located behind the Youth Center. Adults only please. There will be hors d’ oeuvres, wine, and lemonade. Please RSVP by Sept. 30.
Thursday, Oct. 10: Noon Dismissal. Staff development meeting.
Saturday, Oct. 12: Oktoberfest Charity event at Harold’s Cave Creek Corral. 6 – 11pm. $35 per ticket which includes German buffet, music and beer on tap. Fun things for the kids outside of school
American Heritage Girls. All girls in grades K -12 are welcome. Service, Faith and Fun! 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month, 5:30pm – 7pm in Parish Hall. Next meeting is Tuesday, September 3..

Violin lessons: If you are interested in your child receiving private violin lessons, Miss Bernadette Smith (parish music director)can provide them during recess or after school. Miss Smith is an ESA approved vendor, which means you may use ESA funds to pay for lessons. She can be reached at music@stgacc.org
Aftercare
Aftercare is available each full school day(not on half days) until 5:30pm The cost is $10 per day per student. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm or you will be charged a late fee of $25. See our website for Extended Care information.
WE NEED YOU!
Safe Environment Training: To volunteer on campus or ACS events, each volunteer must complete the Safe Environment Training (SET). Please go to CMGConnect. Complete the training, Foundation Online for new volunteers and Renewal for Lay People for returning volunteers.
Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
