Here are your Friday updates for today, September 6, 2024…
What’s Happening?
Tuesday & Wednesday, Sept, 10 & 11 – Spiritline Clinic at Notre Dame Prep for future cheerleaders and pommies! Pre-K to 6th grade. $135 per child with performance at halftime of the Varsity NDP football game on September 12. Game starts at 7pm on the NDP campus.
Friday, Sept. 13: Monthly Rosary led by 7th graders praying the Luminous Mysteries in the church. All are welcome!
Sunday, Sept 15: ACS Family Mass at 8:30am, celebrating Catechetical Sunday. All families are encouraged to attend. Students in uniform please.
Friday, Sept. 20: Castle Quest Aqua Run 10-11:30am and Early Dismissal at 12pm.
Our Castle Quest Aqua Run fundraiser kicks off soon! Our goal is to raise $88,000. These funds will partially subsidize the difference between education cost and tuition income. The difference is $2,338 per student.

Coming Up!:
Tuesday, Sept. 24: Community Prayer at 2:20pm led by 7th grade in the Parish Hall. Parents are welcome to attend.
Thursday, Friday, Sept. 26 & 27: Parent Teacher Conferences, No School. All K- 5 conferences will be in the student’s classroom. Middle School conferences on Thursday will be in the parish hall, Friday conferences will be in the youth center/school library (old ACS K-3). Look for the Signup Genius email coming to your inbox next week! Be sure to book your conference!
Friday, September 27: Catholic Night with the AZ Diamondbacks! Game time is 6:40pm. $5 from every ticket goes to the Diocese of Phoenix Catholic Schools Support 365 program.

Wednesday, October 2: Student and class pictures by Dorian Studios. 9:15- noon. Students in full uniform. K-7 students must wear blue school polo. Girls wearing the plaid jumper must wear the white peter pan collared shirt. 8th graders please wear your light blue school polo. Order information coming soon!
Monday, October 7: Save the Date for our first ever Garden Party! More details to follow.

After School Clubs: From 3:10 – 4:10 pm
- Monday: Tippie Toes Dance hip hop and jazz. $75 per month. Starting on September 19 if we have enough students signed up.

Other Fun Activities!
American Heritage Girls. All girls in grades K -12 are welcome. Service, Faith and Fun! 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month, 5:30pm – 7pm in Parish Hall. Next meeting is Tuesday, September 3..

Violin lessons: If you are interested in your child receiving private violin lessons, Miss Bernadette Smith (parish music director)can provide them during recess or after school. Miss Smith is an ESA approved vendor, which means you may use ESA funds to pay for lessons. She can be reached at music@stgacc.org
Aftercare
Aftercare is available each full school day(not on half days) until 5:30pm The cost is $10 per day per student. Students must be picked up by 5:30pm or you will be charged a late fee of $25. See our website for Extended Care information.

Volunteerism is the backbone of our school community. We need your help especially for lunch/recess, field trips, and school events.
